Welcome to Sheldon Grove Family Dental! We are delighted to have the opportunity to provide you and your family with a wonderful first visit, and to help you enjoy a happy and healthy smile for life.

This visit is an opportunity for us to get acquainted and to understand your dental needs. Your new patient examination will last between 45 minutes and one hour.  Digital x-rays will be taken, along with a full examination and diagnosis of your teeth.  For some patients, a protective, preventive cleaning and polishing will be completed as necessary.  Finally, we will recommend any further treatment, and what steps need to be taken, if any, for your continuing care.)  We will take the time to review with you oral hygiene recommendations along with our evaluation for further treatment and continuing care. 

Dr. Andrea Cervantes is a California native and grew up in South Sacramento.  She earned her undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences in 1993 at University of California, Davis (UCD). After completing her degree at UCD, Dr. Cervantes taught  for both the Elk Grove Unified School District and Sacramento City Unified School District.  She later earned a Masters Degree in Public Health (MPH) at Fresno State.  In 2003, Dr. Cervantes received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree at the University of the Pacific, followed by a Residency in General Dentistry at the UOP Health Sciences Clinic in Stockton.
